Tornado's
Canadian Resorts
Of course our most popular summer sport at Tornado's is fishing! Many
possibilities exist for your angling adventures. At our Main
Lodge, you can travel the 40 mile Pickerel River waterway in pursuit of
walleye (pickerel), northern pike, and small and largemouth bass.
At Smoky Lake Lodge, superb small and largemouth bass fishing can be
had, along with northern pike. Due to our active promotion of Catch &
Release, Smoky and its surrounding waterways remain well-stocked with
fish! You will find northern pike and small and largemouth bass at
both Portage Lake Lodge and Straight Lake Outpost. Portage also boasts a
walleye population.
Pine
Grove Resort
The Pickerel River provides 40 miles of boating for the avid
fisherperson and explorer alike. Fish the Pickerel River itself, or for
the more adventuresome, enjoy a fishing experience on one of our outpost
lakes. Predominant species are walleye (pickerel), northern pike, bass,
and pan fish, including crappie. Fishing & Hunting Licences are sold as
well as ice, and bait. We also provide a screened fish cleaning hut and
freezer service.
Minnehaha
Camp Resort
Fishing's Great...Three lakes, Wilson, Pigeon and Duck, as well as 28
miles of the Pickerel River, are all accessible by boat from the camp
dock. Fishing enthusiasts may try their luck for Walleye, Bass, Northern
Pike, Lake Trout, White Fish and Pan Fish. Special Spring & Fall Fishing
Packages Available. Our Central Docking Area is a place where you can
enjoy family gatherings, meet new friends, fish off the docks, have a
picnic, evening camp fires or just relax.

Birches Camp
Our lovely resort is situated on a peninsula between Wilson Lake and
Pigeon Lake, one of a chain of 3 beautiful lakes on the Pickerel River
System.White Birches - Explore & fish the Pickerel River System,
Electrically heated housekeeping cottages, park model trailers, camping
cabins, RV and tent sites, group camping and outpost cottages, we have
it all! As well, we have well maintained boats, motors and docks, great
fishing on local and inland lakes, laundromat, sauna, recreation room,
children's playground, beaches, secluded picnic areas & forest trails.
Our cottages and park model trailers contain full housekeeping
facilities, 3 piece baths, microwaves, satellite TV's & propane
barbeques. All have central air.
Martins
Camp
The waters of Lake Restoule offer the angler the challenge of Northern
Pike, Muskie, Whitefish, Small Mouth Bass, Lake Trout and Pickerel
(Walleye). Our area is noted for its Large Muskie and through our
involvement in the Restoule & Area Walleye Association our Pickerel
fishing promises to be great for years to come. Numerous Lakes in our
area provide the angler with the opportunity for either a guided or
unguided trip into any of 8 different bodies of water. Martin's Camp
rents boats and motors on a daily or weekly basis or if you are bringing
your own boat, docking is available at a very reasonable rate.
