Thunder Bay on Kashabowie Lake. Great fishing for walleye, smallmouth,
northern pike and lake trout on our 17 mile long lake. We have 8 clean
cabins to choose from which are all fully equipped. Small store on site.
Boat and motor rentals available. You can enjoy the peace and
tranquility as well as a taste of country living while vacationing at
Birch Point Resort. We are located less than 100 km. west of Thunder
Bay, Ontario on Highway 11. We are situated on Kashabowie Lake.
Kashabowie Lake is approximately 17 miles long.
Thunderhook
Fly ins and Smoothrock Camp
Fly In to one of 10 Thunderhook remote outpost camps in northwestern
Ontario, Canada to fish walleye, northern pike and lake trout. Our
fly-in camps are located in the Wabakimi Provincial Park which, at 2.5
million acres is one of Ontario, Canada's largest wilderness areas. The
only access to our remote outpost camps in the Wabakimi is by floatplane
or canoe so the walleye, pike and trout are plentiful and plenty frisky.
Our Shabuskwia Lake at the northernmost part of the Wabakimi is
reknowned for being one of the finest walleye and northern pike lakes in
Ontario. Fly in to Shab or fly in to any one of our remote outpost camps
to experience walleye, northern pike and lake trout fishing at it's
best. Our camps range from deluxe to rustic in order to satisfy every
imagined dream Canadian fly-in fishing trip. Fly in to our 'secret' lake
where we send only 5 groups a summer in order to offer a particularly
exceptional walleye fishing experience.

Our camp is located north of the Quetico Provincial Park in northwestern
Ontario. The camp is accessible by road, just 6 miles off Highway 17, 90
Fishing Walleye at Thunderbird Resortmiles west of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The cold, clear waters of Lac Des Milles Lacs provide some of the best
walleye and northern fishing available. I look forward to providing you
the finest in accommodations and quality equipment to make your vacation
