Lake Lodge
Over 100 lakes and streams are located within a five-mile radius of your
cottage. Some waters can be reached from the side of the road. Other
lakes and streams require extra effort to launch a canoe, but the
results of fishing secluded water can be most rewarding. In addition the
pike, walleye, bass, perch and speckled trout are also indigenous to
many of these northern lakes and streams. Well-maintained boats
and motors are available on a rental basis. Live bait, gas, oil, fishing
and hunting licenses can all be purchased on location.
Auld
Reekie Lodge
Auld Reekie Lodge is a true escape into the beauty of Northern Ontario's
wilderness. Gowganda Lake is an alkaline-based body of water with a
shoreline, which is both rugged and unspoiled. It extends for 35 miles.
A contour map shows why it is a fisherman's paradise with it's many
rocky shoals, weeded areas, sharp drop-offs and stumpy shallows,
offering a variety of fish. Northern Pike, Pickerel/Walleye, Small Mouth
Bass, Perch and Siscoe Herring. Truly incredible fishing can be expected
on our backwood lakes, which surround us, including some trout lakes.

Wolf Camp
West Shiningtree Lake where we are located, has over 8 miles of water
and more than 40 miles of shoreline. With dozens of islands, bays, and
channels, this lake alone has ample fishing for most anglers, but in
order to make your fishing vacation truly unique and memorable, we also
keep boats on 9 other lakes. Our guests can literally fish a different
lake each day of the week with the choice of fishing for Walleye,
Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout,
Splake, Perch and Whitefish.

vacation. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you travel 40 miles of open
waterways, which abound with Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish, Perch
and Smallmouth Bass. Plentiful nature trails offer the opportunity to
explore the diverse landscape and snap the perfect photograph of grouse,
snowshoe rabbit, lynx, black bear, ducks, geese or moose. A daily fly-in
fishing trip or a short sight-seeing tour by air may be arranged with
prior notice. After a successful day of fishing, hunting or wilderness
exploration, relax in our comfortable and clean housekeeping cottages.

In one of Ontario's finest semi-remote fishing and hunting areas,
Kenogaming Lake Lodge will stir your heart with memories of scenic
wilderness discoveries, wildlife encounters and dawn to dusk fishing!
Kenogaming Lake is 11 miles long and offers an abundance of walleye,
great northern pike and whitefish. It also provides portage access to
more lakes with excellent speckled (brook) and rainbow trout fishing.
Our main lodge offers three, home style meals cooked in our own kitchen.
After a day of fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, horseshoes or just
plain relaxing, sit around our fireplace and exchange the events of the
day, play cards, watch T.V., or throw darts before retiring to your own
cozy cabin.

Point Lodge
There's a wide variety of fish species to choose from including Walleye
(pickerel), Northern Pike, Perch, Whitefish, Bass, Lake and Speckled
Trout. You can rent one of our boats or bring your own and enjoy
endless hours of fishing pleasure. Once you've caught your fill, clean
them in our fully equipped fish cleaning house and freeze them for the
trip home in our freezers. If you're new to the area there's a guide
service available to help you locate the hot spots for fishing. For the
real enthusiast a fly-in service is also available.

of lakes supporting a number of different game fish species. Imagine the
chance to fish your own private lake every day for seven days in a row
without sharing. Imagine the joy in watching a friend’s face light up as
they catch and release another large Northern Pike or catch a tasty
Walleye for the dinner table. Small mouth bass weighing in at 2-4 lbs
are a way of life at Lost Lake. Brook Trout can be found in several
different lakes while lake trout and rainbow trout are located in their
very own walk-to havens. Many of our lakes offer perch and other panfish.
Shining
Tree Tourist Camp
Shining Tree Lake has a variety of fish to satisfy everyone from
families to serious pro's. The lake is over 5 miles long, and has miles
of rugged shoreline, islands, and hidden bays to test your skills.
Fighting Smallmouth Bass up to 5lbs. are common in the warm summer.
Walleye and Northern Pike are the favorite in Spring and Fall. If it's
trout you're after, travel to any of the numerous back lakes to try your
hand at Rainbows, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Aurora Trout or Splake. Many
of these lakes are accessible by road, some by portage or fly-in.
Spruce
Shilling Camp
You have your choice of many lakes with walleye, northern pike,
smallmouth bass and perch. Other area lakes have speckled, rainbow and
lake trout. We have great fall hunting for bear, moose, grouse and
waterfowl. Fish and hunt on your own or book a fishing, bear or
moose-hunting package. For the ATV enthusiast, ride from sunrise
to sunset on hundreds of miles of old abandoned roads. This area was
designed for you and your ATV by Mother Nature.
Twin
Bears Resort
The Montreal River has long been known for excellent Walleye, Perch,
Northern Pike, White Fish and Bass, where your chances are good of
landing a trophy fish. The river, with its nearby connecting lakes
surrounded by crown land makes an excellent place to spend your vacation
fishing the days away. Your vacation time will long be over before you
can fish the 41 miles of navigable water. Northern Pike Fishing in
Ontario. We are surrounded by crown land, so you are able to enjoy the
beauty and tranquility of nature as you fish the area. The river is very
calm as it winds its way down to two lakes with depths of 20 to 65 feet
and width from 125 yards to 1/2 mile.

J Hide-a-Way
Located on Mattagami Lake, which is well known in Ontario for having
outstanding fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. We
also have easy access to the Minisinakwa River where the Walleye and
Northern Pike fishing is just as good. There are many other lakes
in the area, which have excellent Lake Trout, Brook Trout, Splake,
Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. These lakes can be easily accessed
via portage, ATV or snowmobile. Daylong fly-in trophy fishing lakes are
also available via the local air service. Walleyes in Mattagami Lake
come in all sizes with many good eating sizes right up to trophy Walleye
in the 10 to 12-pound range. The lake does have some deep areas going
down to 300 feet. Many of the really large trophy Walleyes can be found
suspended and feeding on schools of baitfish. Generally, fishing close
to shore produces the greatest number of Walleyes.
